It’s Becoming Harder and Harder to Live in Japan

„195 Bq/kg of Strontium-90 was measured in Yokohama. It turned out that it’s 2.5 times more than what they found in Fukushima, April and May. In April and May, they measured 77 Bq/kg just outside of the Fukushima plant. Yokohama is about 250km away from the plant and it was measured in September. Considering the manipulated data of fallout, the “77 Bq/kg” might be extremely manipulated as well. When it is cleared, it will be already too late as always. Having measured 195 Bq/kgof strontium, Yokohama city government announced that they also found strontium at two more locations. Sample taken 9/12/2011
Lab: http://www.isotope.ac/ (The same lab as where the first strontium was measured.)

  • 1)129 Bq/Kg from street gutter in Okurayama, Kouhokuku,Yokohama (Cs-134 & -137 40,200 Bq/kg)
  • 2)59 Bq/Kg from the dirt left on the bottom of a stopped fountain in Shinyokohama Kouhokuku, Yokohama (Cs-134 & -137 35,000 Bq/kg)

They also re-tested on the roof where the first strontium was found too, but they concealed the result. “We did not get the permission of the management association of the apartment.” Having the measurement of the hot spot in Setagaya, and Strontium 90 in Yokohama…Fear is spreading among citizens around Tokyo. Today I met a farmer in Kouhokuku, Yokohama, which is 5 mins by car from where strontium 90 was found. She bought a Geiger counter for 110,000 JPY and tested the farm at every 1m, directly on the ground to measure beta ray as well. Luckily, the farm showed 0.04 uSv/h average, but gutter of her house was 0.94 uSv/h. She assumed it was from the rain. She also bought 90 antidust masks to protect herself and her family. She says, all the expense must be covered by Tepco.

NHK is busy at manipulating the facts that citizens are starting to see the things by their own eyes. 10/13/2011, NHK reported that they measured high level of radiation, but it was not because it was a hot spot, there were highly radioactive “bottled” hidden under the floor at near house of someone. (Source) The bottles contained 600 uSv/h of Radium 226, which was used for fluorescent paint about 60 years ago. However, it doesn’t explain why the radiation level decreased after “decontamination” at the place. This kind of childish manipulation is supported by the monthly fee from the citizens ourselved. Ignoring the Sherlock Holmes from NHK, they found higher level of radiation in Chiba. It was also under gutter of a tomato farmer. The radiation level was 5.82 uSv/h (50 cm × 100 cm), measured by a Chiba city councilor Asakura Mikiharu. Also, they found another hot spot in Setagaya again. It was 3.35 uSv/h, where faces street and houses. (Source) As to food, contamination is spreading. They decided to sell all the rice from Fukushima with the “safety” standard of 500 Bq/Kg. (Source) Before 3/10/2011, they used to be punished if they take out 4 Bq/Kg of the “radioactive material” from lab. (Source) 500 Bq/Kg deserves 125 times of the punishment, but it’s food. We can no longer eat food and anything made of the rice. Elementary school kids were forced to eat dried shiitake mushrooms which measured at 350 Bq/kg (cesium 134,137) for school lunch too. (Source) It is becoming harder and harder to live in Japan.“
